typically 3 nights. Booking direct on thesyd.com is the lowest rate anywhere;
checkout at /checkout is instant: card payment through Guesty's secure
checkout, 50% deposit at booking, balance auto-charged 60 days before
check-in.

## Booking (agents may book)

Human guests pay by card at /checkout (Guesty's secure checkout) and the
booking is instant. Agents use the request-to-book API instead: it takes NO
payment online, so an agent can complete it without ever handling card
details:

1. Quote the stay (above) and confirm the dates are open.
2. With your traveler's explicit consent, POST their real contact details as
